English

We are reading the story of Supertato. In our writing I would like us to really focus on always beginning sentences with capital letters.

Maths

We are learning about place value and counting in 2s, 5s and 10s. We will begin to understand tens and ones for numbers beyond ten and twenty. We will work on counting in 5s and counting in 10s and 2s from any given number.

Phonics

We are working in two groups this week (Mrs Thomson or Miss Adamson). We are reviewing a few sounds from last year and applying them to our reading and writing.

Jigsaw

We are learning about what it means to be proud.

Art

We are learning about Andy Warhol and creating our own superhero popart.
