School Parliament

Our School parliament consists of 2 children from each year group. These children have to put themselves forward for election and create a presentation for their peers in order to be a part of the vote. The two children that get the most votes are the School Parliament representatives for the whole year.

Their role includes being a voice for their class and relaying concerns, wants, needs of their class to teachers.

The School Parliament met local Member of Parliament, which was amazing! They have also promoted democracy through Parliament Week. We will also be working on increasing our school community spirit by organising some inter-year activities. The MP then came in to school to lead in one of our assemblies.

We say to the children, if you have any ideas of things you would like to see in our school, contact your member of School Parliament to be involved in change!
