Eco Team

Each class have their own Eco warriors who represent their tribe and their tribes views on all things Eco-friendly.  At the start of each school year children who would like to be considered prepare and present to their class why they would like the role and what skills they could bring to it. 

Our Eco team consists of 2 children from each year group. We strive to be eco conscious and environmentally aware at Longton Primary School.

We have picked litter in the school grounds and shared our findings with the whole school. As a result, we made posters and displayed them around school to encourage the importance of looking after our environment.

We have collected batteries for recycling with the hope that our batteries will be reused to make buildings or the next sports car.

We have a very active Gardening Club. Most recently we were awarded the Western Parishes in Bloom with a garden dedicated to the 100-year anniversary of World War 1.
