Hello all :)
I hope you have had a peaceful weekend.
Here is what we are doing this week:
Maths |
We are continuing our work on fractions - finding a quarter of a shape and quantity. |
English |
We are reading Up and Down, by Oliver Jeffers. In the afternoons, for reading comprehension, we are reading The Emperor's Egg. |
Phonics |
Mrs Thomson's group are working on split diagraphs, a-e (make a cake) and i-e (nice smile). Miss Adamson's group are learning ay (may I play), ow (blow the snow), ea (a cup of tea) and ie (a colourful tie). |
Jigsaw |
We are learning how to help if we think someone is being bullied. |
PE |
We are using jumps, rolls and travelling movements to create our own sequences. |
Celebration Assembly |
On Monday, we are going to church for celebration assembly at 2pm. Some children will give a brief overview of what we have been learning this term. |
Trees |
We will be learning about different kinds of trees - deciduous and evergreen. |
I look forward to seeing you next week.
Many thanks,
Miss Adamson
