A busy week

Date: 19th Sep 2016 @ 6:25pm

What another fantastic week we have had in Year 3.  Lots going on with our Roald Dahl day activities and our first swimming lesson.

On Tuesday we enjoyed describing our hunt for the Golden Ticket in school.  The Golden ticket is still hiding away in one of the books in school.  I wonder who might find it when they change their reading books next week?

In the afternoon we had lots of creative activities going on.

Origami foxes (Fantastic Mr Fox), play doh sweet creations (Charlie and the Chocolate Factory), Mr Twit's messy beard (The Twits), dream catchers and dream jars (BFG) as well as some painting (The Giraffe, the Pelly and Me). The children all worked really well and it was lovely to see lots of children helping each other out with some of the more tricky bits of the activities.

On Thursday the children were very excitied to be going swimming.  They were patient and waited their turn while Jane assessed their skills.  Next week they will get to spend more time swimming in their different groups.

I know it's going to be a great year.
