Arts Week Thursday
Date: 27th May 2021 @ 6:05pm
Today we were printing. Earlier in the week we focused on the work of Henri Rousseau- the tiger in the jungle.
We have thought a lot about our outdoor environment and nature during lockdowns with many of us enjoying our country walks. In class we have been learning about the importance of the rainforest so we linked these 2 ideas together to create our own, multi coloured prints.
I only have a 1 photos I’m afraid as my hands have been covered in printing ink most of the day! Final pieces will be photographed tomorrow when they are dry.
This afternoon we took a bit of time out to enjoy some reading in the sunshine, tennis and finished off with a ice pop.
On Monday we make our own art shirts, take a look, can you find inspirational messages or try and spot a rainbow or 2!
