Week Beginning Monday 20th November
Date: 18th Nov 2017 @ 4:03pm
Hello all :)
I hope you're having a happy weekend!
English |
We are reading Lost and Found by Oliver Jeffers. We are going to walk to the library on Monday morning and learn about some stories from cold places. |
Maths |
We are learning about fractions. Specifically, a fraction is one equal part of a whole. We will also learn about halves and quarters of shapes and quantities. |
Phonics |
Mrs Thomson's group is learning ew (chew the stew), oe (ten toes) and au (he caught a fish). Miss Adamson's group is learning air (that's not fair), er (better letter), or (shut the door) and ure (sure it's pure). |
Geography |
We are learning about continents and finding cold places on a map of the world. We will be linking this to the Lost and Found story. |
Jigsaw |
We are learning what bully is and how being bullied might feel. |
PE |
We are still learning new ways of travelling and rolling. We are continuing to work on creating our own sequences. |
I look forward to seeing you all on Monday,
Miss Adamson
